Why Therapy Ponies
Equine‑assisted interaction offers a calm, grounding experience that supports emotional wellbeing, confidence and connection. Ponies are naturally sensitive to human body language and emotion, which makes them ideal partners for gentle, therapeutic engagement.
Sessions are hands‑on, sensory and reassuring — perfect for people who may find talking‑based approaches difficult. Simply spending time with a pony can reduce stress, ease anxiety and encourage positive social interaction.
As a fully qualified Mental Health First Aider, I ensure every visit is delivered safely, sensitively and with professional awareness. The focus is always on creating a supportive, calming experience for each person, at their own pace.
